Fara Sign Questions (Earlier List)

Here are the recent changes I have made to the Fara unidentified lists, after re-visiting Fara LAK, Schneider Ur III, UET II, ZATU, ATU lists, Steinkeller analyses, etc.

Recent additions to the list of unknowns (15 items):
3, 13, 37, 93, 118, 158, 160, 161, 260, 265, 297, 348, 369, 526, 708,

Recent deletions from the list of unknowns (26 items, items whose etymological connections or at least whose components seem identifiable with substantial probability):
85, 94 (split into two distinct signs), 125, 171 (now taken as KAD4), 185, 193, 203, 231 (stands for NAB, rather than HAL over AN ?), 253, 277, 325, 342 (LU2 x SHU paired facing), 571, 579, 624, 640, 641, 642, 643, 658, 662, 702, 703, 707, 734, 813 (confirmed as NUNUZ?),

Disregarded as insecure (12 items):
11, 131, 132, 471, 801, 802, 803, 804, 805, 806, 811, 812

Below there follows the list of Fara signs
from the LAK list which I was not able to identify with reasonable security
before consulting Krebernik's OBO 160/1 treatment,

either
(a) as a sign known from another list,
or (b) as a sign not in other lists, but clear and complete, not damaged.

Please click above on "Fara Signs not yet identified" for what remains of this list after consulting Krebernik.

130
171 (if it occurs not only in Fara 172 = L320 which later fused;
perhaps 171 is itself a fusion of SHA with some carrying device?)
173
175 (perhaps more than one sign here?)

436
441 (incuded in the "head" is not PA, unlike #442)
456 (??? (occurs elsewhere) x TAK4 ?)
457
458
459
460 (these two are almost certainly distinct signs, given that the
presence vs. absence of the wedges at the base
distinguishes several other clearly distinct pairs of signs)

470 (I don't think it is related to LAK 69 and L#114,
but have no other suggestion yet)

478 (a variant of basket with carrying strap, here larger textile ?
see the last example under Fara 272, or in Labat #434)

488 (consider the distinctions, where KASKAL does not regularly
exchange with .sheshshig markings,
and the possibility that the two meanings and readings here
correlate with the different sign forms)
LAK484 = Labat 206 DU
LAK485 = Labat 202a DU x KASKAL, GIR5
LAK 486 = Labat 201 SUHUSH = DU with gunation of base
LAK 487 = Labat 202b DU sheshshig, KASH4
LAK488 = ?? DU.sheshshig without gunation of base)

502 (if not a variant of 500)
535
539 (is there a distinction infixed PA vs. GAD in LAK 538)
541 (AB x ???)
552 (??? x PAP)
553 (??? x ???)
554 (??? x ???)
571 (DUG x ???)
579 (DUG x ???)

590 ??? x TAG4
592 URU x ???
605
610
624 (EZEN x (HI x DISH) ?, or alternative identification for HI x DISH)
632 (Labat #215b ??)
636
640 (??? x SIG7)
641 (??? x NI)
642 (??? x ZA)
643 (??? x NI)
645
646
647
652 (UKKIN x LAGAB ?)

658, 662 (SHIM x what? The infixed sign in the Fara examples
does not look like SAL or NI, but the Labat #215 looks like NI ?)

665 (LAK links to Labat #595, but I wonder about this link.
The examples shown in the box of commentary LAK #665
resemble rather another sign, and the bend of the arm is right
rather than left (if sign turned into original upright orientation))

692 (GA2 x a sign resembling MIR, SIG4, NIMGIR, and SUKKAL,
respectively ZATU 362, 454, 399, 492. Is the infixed part one of these?)

699 (GA2 x ???)
701 (GA2 x ???)
702 (GA2 x (??? x SIG7))
703 (GA2 x (??? x KASKAL))
707 (GA2 x SA ? or other ?)
722 (GA2 x PAP)
727
734
741 (DAG x ???)
774 (??? x ASH)
800 (number '3' vertical wedges x KAR2 better than x TUG2,
is this combination known? another analysis?)
801
802
803
804
805
806
811
812
813 (confirmed as NUNUZ?)
Again, thanks for any help...
